June: Toddler Art Part II

I’m really behind on these as we’ve already done July’s Toddler Art too!

So, June’s second Toddler Art recap.

4th of July Fireworks!

This was an easy one, we practiced our scissor skills and stamping skills.

What you’ll need:
– toilet paper tubes
– paint (any colors but I used red and blue and white)
– scissors
– markers
– card stock paper in white or any other color. Black may have looked good with yellow and orange paint.

How to:
Simply cut slits into your toilet paper about half way up. Fold the slits outward. Stamp the toilet paper tube into some paint and then stamp onto your paper. Add detail with markers later.

How it went:
This was a quick project, but the whole point is to experience new things and be creative. As always, they made a mess with the paint and mixed it all together. Below are some of the finished products.
