Bulletin Boards and Summer Decorations

Here are some more Summer Reading Bulletin Boards in the Library this year. Bridgeview Library uses the themes posted each year by CSLP. Since this year’s theme focuses on things and ideas not readily seen but “Beneath The Surface,” most of our decorations for summer will focus on dinosaurs (and dinosaur bones), caves, animals and plants that live underground, and of course reading.

This is a bulletin board I painted with a ship and some underwater treasure.

Ms. Jasmine made this cute door window display to show the roots of a flower and how you can “Grow with a good book.”

This is part of our underground wall decoration. Each child that signs up for summer reading has their name written on a dinosaur cut out and is taped up on the wall. The children are especially happy to be recognized for their participation and a job well done.
